Target Ranges for My Genres

Since my genre is sports drama there could be two different types of target ranges. For example, for drama, drama is only incorporated with sports when it wants to create a special meaning behind the characters lives. The target range for the Drama genre is for people who love to feel the characters emotions and for people who like to enjoy being wrapped up in a rollercoaster of a film. For the sport genre, the target range is for people who like to enjoy watching sports or people who play the sport they are watching. People who watch sports movies like to watch people overcoming their personal problems and life difficulties and to find their place in their sport.  

What is target audience?

Target range is a person or a group of people the piece that it is intended to reach. The writer or the director has chosen a specific type of audience. The target audience also includes age, gender, and interests that the audience participates in. The target audience is important when planning a movie, that is because it lets the audience know what type of movie it is going to be and who it is intended for, as it also plays a role in how the audience connects with the film.
